WEAR PLATES
The cutting unit is equipped as standard with a series of wear-resistant boron steel skids, designed to provide the gear housing with maximum protection against any risk of damage in the field. The rounded reinforcements positioned between the skids protect the bar effectively, while the profiling on the underside prevents material build-up, allowing the mown crop to flow without interruption.
ADDITIONAL WEAR PLATES
The additional wear plate kit can be fitted directly at the factory on request, or it can be installed easily and quickly by the user at a later stage, aftermarket, after purchasing the MARANGON mower. Stamped and made of wear-resistant boron steel, these elements provide additional protection for the cutting unit.
“TOPPING SKIDS”
Raising plate that allows the cutting height to be increased in order to perform so-called “Topping”, cutting only the upper part of the plant.
